1920s CAST IRON ARCADE TWO DOOR MODEL A FORD TOY AUTOMOBILE IN ORIGINAL PAINT

Description

Rare and original, 1920’s larger size, Cast Iron, Two Door, Model A Ford Coupe manufactured by Arcade Manufacturing Co of Freeport, Illinois. This early, cast iron Arcade Automobile measures 6 1/2” long overall by 3 3/4" tall by 3" wide. The Automobile retains the vast majority of its original red surface paint aqnd original Arcade decals on both front doors. The iron spoke wheels are original and the Car retains its original, separately cast, nickel plated driver. The Toy is marked with cast lettering on the inner surface of the body that reads "Arcade Mfg. Co. / Freeport Ill".
This original, Arcade Model A Ford Coupe is in very good condition. There are no crack, breaks, chips, repairs or physical damage of any kind. The Automobile retains approx. 75% of its original red surface paint and the surface is 100% original – the paint has never been restored, touched up, repainted or altered in any way. The Toy retains original Arcade decals on both the driver’s and passenger’s side doors and also retains its original, separately cast, nickel plated driver. Please see the scans below for a good representation of the form of the Toy and the condition of its surface paint.
