Antique Embalming/Dressing Table

Description

Antique Portable Embalming / Cooling table made by Champion. The table measures 80” long by 24” wide. The height from the ground to the bottom of the table is 15”. The table depth is 4” on the side. Very cool hinges and handle on this portable cooling table! The head rest piece has different height positions depending on what the embalmer or mortician needed to do at the time.
Used to keep bodies cool many years ago when someone passed at home. Ice would be placed under the table for the cooling. Also used as a funeral prep / dressing table.
