VINTAGE STERLING SILVER HECHO EN MEXICO AZTEC CALENDAR PENDANT

Description

A Silver pendant of the Aztec circular calendar stone from Mexico City. The calendar appears to be cast, and then mounted on a circular backing machined from plate metal with an attached chain.
The cast part is 1.75 inches in diameter.  The backing plate is 2.375 inches in diameter. The chain is 28 inches -- 14 inches out and 14 inches back.  It weighs 2.8 ounces.
On the back it says:
JOV MEX
HECHO EN
MEXICO
PLATA 0.925
which would mean 92.5 percent pure silver.
Everything is a silver gray metal color, like tarnished silver, and nothing is attracted to a magnet.
If it is as it says, 92.5 percent silver, at 2.8 ounces, and an ounce current price, then it is worth about just as silver bullion.
