    Description

    WIDOW HOWLAND DOLL BY GERTRUDE FLORIAN, HAND MADE. 12" tall. Beautiful detailing on this handmade character doll. Gertrude Florian was an NIADA artist and charter member. She was inducted into NIADA in 1963. The doll has individually stitched wired stockinette fingers and a wonderful face depicting the widow Howland. Her costume consists of a dress with tiny button trim down the bodice and an antique lace trim at the neckline, apron with antique crocheted lace trim, 2 detailed petticoats made of fine Batiste, drawers of the same. Also stockings and handmade leather boots. A one of a kind treasure!
